Valley Middle School
Scotts Valley, California.

The
Pack Your Trash Anti Litter Team visited Scotts
Valley Middle School with Executive Directors Ray Conti
& Steve Smith. They spoke to almost
700 students during two huge assemblies. Chris Moran from
the City of Santa Cruz showed up along with Joel Corona, Rini
Van Every and Elaina Smith from Waste
Management, Inc.
with their robot "Cycler" which is made entirely
from recycled trash ...This robot was really cool ...it would
answer questions about recycling. The students learned all
about the importance of keeping their community trash free.
Volunteers
are needed to help spread the message and continue keeping
the beaches clean. If you would like to get involved and help
you can contact (831) 464-7763 or email
